Teddy is a stout built 14.3-15hh, 11 year old, Sorrel Gelding with plenty of chome and a flaxen ame and tail. Teddy has been ridden around the farm and been around cows but his main job in life has been trail riding and he is great at his job! Teddy is very laid back and gentle. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is traffic safe. He has a smooth jog, a nice lope, a good stop, turns a circle both ways and backs with ease!... (read more) Teddy is a confident horse on the trails and he will lead the crew, head out alone or follow behind with no issues! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has seen everything that one could see out on the trails. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. We specialize in beginner safe, gentle, broke, trail horses. We work with all horses personally for a good period of time before they are offered for sale. We do bomproof training, all horses have had guns shot off of their backs, ridden over tarps, by atvs, in heavy traffic and will ride on rough trails, through deep water, and all horses are naturally gaited.
