12 year old, bay, mustang gelding available for no fault of his own, he’s just not exactly what I want at the moment.

Phantom is about 16h (I measured him with a tape measure so may not be exact).

This horse is built like a tank has a big ole Booty, huge hooves, a little bit of feathers and his overall build lead us to believe he has draft in him.

(read more) Halter broke, picks up all 4 feet, lunges, stands tied/cross tied, loads, good to be bathed, can touch him all over, stands to be blanketed and saddled, put his nose right in the halter, and takes a bit like it’s something he’s done his whole life. I’ve played around on him a ton sliding off his butt, hanging off his neck, and walking under him and he hasn’t batted an eye. Has has a very smooth trot and a rocking chair lope.

He’ll meet you at the gate, and isn’t hard to catch. I’ve walked him with a strand of bailing twine or a belt quite a few times…

Been around dogs, goats, kids, trucks, a busy road, and heavy equipment pretty much every day.

Great for the vet, but can be a bit of a pain for the farrier every once in awhile.

He does occasionally buck when loping, he’s just lazy gets over himself quickly. Aside from that his only other real con is being spooky.

In the year that I’ve had him he has never taken a lame step. He’d be good trail horse, the few times I’ve trail ridden him he did great.
