Mayken is majestic. She is all class. She is a dream and a joy to handle and ride. Mayken was originally purchased from her breeder in 2015 as a forever horse to enjoy and continue her breeding success. Her owner had some wonderful times: attending a Julie Goodnight clinic, trailering to overnight trail riding camps, throwing two beautiful foals. But now her owner has health issues and must sell. We are sad to close this chapter, but thrilled to see Mayken "ride" out her autumn years with a great new owner who can spend the time with her that she deserves.... Mayken was bred by the famous Friesians of Majesty in Vermont. She had a first-class professional upbringing, earning a prestigious Ster rating with the KFPS. She was successfully bred both by her original breeder in Vermont and her owner in Louisiana. Her sire is Remmelt 323. Her dam is Ymkje Jaaike, a Model mare with the KFPS! While nearing 20 years old, Mayken still has years of enjoyment ahead of her. Her gaits are absolutely balanced and lovely, and her presence is undeniable. Everyone knows and loves the "beautiful big black horse" in our neighborhood. She is a joy to ride. Don't pass up this opportunity to own the beloved Mayken.
