Athena- 8 yr old, 15hh, Green Mountain(highly desired herd), titled mare exploding with talent. She has had five months of proper Western pro training by an excellent trainer near New Orleans.

The trainer has a long waiting list! The trainer stated Athena reminded her of her best cutting horse per her movement, intelligence, and solid mind but reactive enough to be sports savvy.

Athena has never kicked, bucked, or shown any signs of aggression.... (read more) She is kind-hearted, as the trainer remarked. She could excel at Western Sport and has the jump talent for English.

Athena stands perfectly for the farrier, loads well, and has good ground manners, but is not easy to catch in pasture. Once caught she falls back into her solid training.

Riding videos upon request w/t/c and backing up...lots of videos.

**Due to being in graduate school, with toddler children, I lack time to ride her consistently, and with her talent, she should be starting her career! My other horses are too young to train yet. It's not fair to Athena to be pastured for a year with barely any riding. She is bored. This was a hard, hard decision for me. Athena has it all and should be in show arenas.
