RBF Call Me Robert Emmet aka Emmet is a coming 3yr GVHS registered gelding. Currently standing 15.2h. We expect this guy to mature to 15.2-15.3h and be a fabulous trail, driving, or lower level dressage partner.
Emmet is by Sterling Spring Call Me Sir (SD Jim X Oakfields Her Majesty) and out of Galway Girl of RBF (Lake Ridge British Sterling X Seabra). He has taken on his dams size and movement paired with his sires laid back attitude.... (read more) This guy was born and raised here at River Boyne Farm and then went to an amazing owner as a weanling. He came back to us in early November 2022 as he was just getting to be larger than his owner was wanting. As much as we wish we could keep them all, Emmet deserves to find his forever person and have that one on one attention.
Broke to ride in his previous home and has been on group trail rides, in parades, ridden around the farm alone, and has even ponied other horses. All of this has been kept to a laid back w/t due to age. He is young and though he's incredibly laid back for his age, he will still need an intermediate handler/rider that can work with a youngster and a horse of his size. This boy has had kids and the elderly on him and has great potential to be that family horse that anyone can hop on.
Emmet does wonderful being taken away from the herd, stands great for the farrier, ties, leads well, and loads like a dream.
Will do best in a laid back herd where he won't be bullied. This boy is low on the pecking order and doesn't like to be chased or picked on. Easy keeper with wonderful feet.
