Docs Moonshadow is a big boned, well structured, large Chestnut Mare born April, 2018 and standing at 16 hands bred to a large duel registered Mammoth Jack standing at 15 hands. She is due to foal in the Spring. This is a two in one package!
Saddle broke and kid friendly. She is not that high spirited, always on the go type.... (read more) Very gentle and easygoing. But she will go when you want her to and stops when you want her to.
We have videos, just ask!
Being very strong and big boned makes her a really good trail horse, pack horse, hunting horse. She handles gunshot and firecracker bangs amazingly. Her mule baby will be large and strong making the perfect pack/hunting/trail animal. Mule baby will also do good in ranch work as well.
This mare comes down through great lines, Colonel Freckles, Doc Bar, Doc Olena, to name a couple. She has been used some in ranch work, roping, herding, cutting and does well. She is a great roping prospect as she is big and strong. She has been roped off of a little and with a little more work, she would be perfect. She has gathered and pushed cattle.
She rides good, no buck, no bite, good on the trail, good with saddle or bare back, with halter or bridle. The kids ride her all the time bare back with just a halter. Good with getting her feet done. Stands tied, loads and unloads good.
She has had some professional training on her and does good. Does good for people with little experience. Take her onto the trail, onto the ranch, or whatever else suits you. Really couldn’t go wrong.
She is up to date on all shots.
