Galeote
Galeote CDF is a five year old 16H registered PRE gelding that was actually born and raised in United States by a very well respected longtime PRE Breeder. Galeote’s sire, Guateque IV is a well known champion International/CDI stallion.
Galeote is currently competing UDSF First Level, and is confirmed in all the second level moves, and will be showing second level in a few weeks in Florida. He is schooling Third.... (read more)
He is currently in full-time training with a USDF Gold Medalist.
He had been showing consistently all summer season up north, and is wonderful at trailering and with the show environment. He has absolutely no problem hanging out in the trailer for a couple of hours even without friends!!!
He was shown a large part of the summer by a JR/YR.
He has the worlds most comfortable trot and canter, even for those with back issues. His canter transitions are incredibly easy, simple, and uphill. He is soft and easy in the bridle without being behind the bit.
This guy has unlimited potential…
Galeote is the clown of the barn. Always the first one to stick his head out of the stall and greet visitors. He adores being groomed and having someone braid his long luscious mane.
Galeote is a super easy keeper, has absolutely no vices and is barefoot. He loads himself! He is up-to-date on all his vaccinations and has a recent Coggins. He is a super star for the vet, Farrier, and Dentist, and not a day goes by that one of them doesn’t tell me how he is their favorite to work on. He Happily goes out with other geldings and loves them. Galeote is not a spooky horse in most situations and has no problem with tractors, massive excavation projects, UTV‘s, dogs, bicycles, cats, etc. And he LOVES kids! If he has a fault, he can get a bit lazy if his rider lets him, but responds very well to a small spur and transitions!!
So probably not for a complete novice that has not developed some sense of seat and leg. He would be great for an advanced beginner in a program.
He had the million dollar PPE last year, including X-Rays, and passed with flying colors.
Attached is his first level test at a recognized show this summer, and a video of him completing all the second level work this winter in Florida.
