Sonni is a true driving horse out on the main roads or for fun around the farm. He is fantastic on the trails crossing bridges, rivers, tunnels, logs, mud, bicycles, and joggers, and wildlife does not faze him.... (read more) He is a fantastic jumper and has room to go higher. He is very athletic in some serious competitions. He is smooth in his extended trot and has a nice upward lope. Knows his leads. He would make an excellent lesson pony. He does well gathering cattle and is fearless. He has excellent bones and is thickly built with a strong back being a Friesian x Hackney cross. He is suited for small adults and children to ride. Lady in the videos is 5ft 11 for reference. No, she is not too big, as you can see in the videos. He will carry you all day. He would also be a fantastic fox hunter horse with his stamina or cross-country pony. He likes to bond with his rider and will be your best friend. He loads and unloads as one should. Does great with the bigger horses in the pasture. He is good in a stall. He is fantastic for the farrier. Currently barefooted but has had shoes on all 4. He has good hard feet. He is a little shy at first, but once he knows you, he is better than any puppy. He is 100 percent sound with no lameness issues and never requires maintenance other than regular trimming, floating, deworming, etc. We look forward to hearing from you and are excited to see him get his new best friend / best friend.
