If you are looking for a horse to do literally anything on safely that is happy and wants to please, look no further! Cherokee is a cool uncomplicated guy. He loves people and meets you at the gate. He has absolutely no buck or silly to him and just wants to be someone’s buddy. I’m going to be real honest, I’m not usually a paint fan but this guy is worth his weight in gold! Cherokee knows barrels and has been used for drill team by a youth girl that moved onto a faster horse.... (read more) He has SMOOTH gaits and transitions and will go literally anywhere you point him. He picks up his leads with ease, has a nice stop, and doesn’t EVER get hot or excited. He never gives more than is asked of him even after being turned out for an extended period of time. Cherokee is good stalled or in a herd and he loads, hauls, and stands tied well. He is lower in the pecking order and stays fat on a tifton round bale (we don’t have grass). He meets you at the gate and just absolutely loves attention!! He has a brand new coggins and is up to date on everything. Also, age verified and just floated by an equine dentist. He has shoes on the front currently because we are so rocky but he does great barefoot normally. He has also recently been tried with mounted shooting and he is so dang spook proof that he barely even flinched the first time. Cherokee also LOVES to jump! I don’t have English tack anymore so ignore the western attire, this guy would likely excel English very quickly and he’s not the kind to refuse anything. I have someone’s DREAM horse standing here I’m sure of it!! These kind aren’t easy to find and I am REALLY liking his versatility and willingness to please. Feel free to call anytime!

I took a bit of a break after having my son and sold several personal horses. That being said, I have missed training so will be keeping a few at a time, just not at many as before with a wild little toddler to chase around now
