Goliath is a 13y/o, 17.2hh Belgian gelding. This guy is absolutely SAFE for anyone to ride & drive. He is 100% a gentle soul in every way. Doesn't have a mean bone in his body & is very easy to fall in love with. Under saddle he will w/t/c but is a little more whoa than go. Typical draft that enjoys sight seeing at a leisurely pace. He's very sure footed & will cover all types of terrain. He never complains & isn't fussy or spooky.... (read more) Rides out alone or with others. Take him up steep hills, swimming, trail blazing, into town, past traffic, over ditches, etc.. he will ride around in the ring too if thats your thing! Goliath is easy to handle & lead with great ground manners. Is not pushy whatsoever. He can live out in a mixed herd or go stalled. He drives single or double & he's been hooked to just about every piece of farm machinery you can imagine. He is happy to teach the colts how to drive, spreads manure, works in the produce patch, mows the grass, pulls a wagon or carriage, etc.. anyone can drive him including those who are new to it! He is great around heavy traffic & going into down town. Seriously if you want a solid citizen to teach you to drive hes it! Goliath would suit new riders & beginners wonderfully. Hes just a laid back sweetheart who's looking for his next family!
