Choco Dean is a 14.3 hh, 950lb, registered chocolate Rocky Mountain Horse. He is 8 yrs old has experience in the arena and on the trail. He was started a little later in life so he's only been ridden consistently for about 2 years. He can gait on a loose rein, however traveling in his breed specific gait is a newer skill and his gait isn't super "set" yet. He is a little on the diagonal/trotty side of the gaited spectrum so sometimes he'll slip into a trot or foxtrot but never into a pace or stepping pace.... (read more) A quick reminder is usually all that's required to get him back on track. He rides well in just a bitless bridle and doesn't need to be held back at all, yet is still responsive to his cues and can pick up the pace when asked. He's up-to-date on everything, healthy and a super easy keeper. He's in pretty good shape right now and has a strong, short back and a developed topline. Dean is excellent for all handling and groundwork. He is being consistently worked and will continue to be until he finds his person. He would do best with an intermediate rider due to him still learning to maintain his gait, and gaining confidence on the trail. No bite, kick, rear, buck, or pace. Dean has an amazing sweet personality and aims to please.
