Genetic results showing this filly is chestnut with Appaloosa characteristics (striped hooves, white scelera, mottled skin) with white hairs coming in for varnish roan coat color AND 2 gait genes!! She has done nothing but gait, Will gait under saddle, and will pass a gait gene to every one of her foals. This is rare! (read more) Her sire is Heritage Tennessee Walking horse certified- being from older versatile lines of orginal walkers before modern lines bred to built up, padded show horses. Her sire has been mistaken for quarter horse with his wider chest and deeper hindquarters not seen on many walkers today.
I rode her dam on cattle drive and did some team penning with her, she took to it so naturally that ranch people thought she was experienced, not her first time working cattle. She is also a fearless trail horses, good agility on rough trails, goes wherever asked.
Both sire and dam very calm and willing, easy to train and handle.
Lexus has their same willing to please attitude, is very people friendly and loving. Will be superior riding and breeding mare. Can go in any direction from smooth gaited trail horse to western competition and producer of gaited foals. Not many Walkaloosa are double gaited genetics and from known, proven Appaloosa and TWH parents. Foaled May 8, 2022.
