Sweet 5 year old gelding. He was supposed to be one of my project horses but with the farm being too busy and me going back to school we are downsizing. He has sat all winter, so is definitely a project and in need of a re-start form the ground up. He is a very smart and curious guy, has been saddled and sat on. He is still waspy (mind you that could also be me and a lot less a him problem), but willing to learn. He has a little cinchy buck when saddled on a Monday, but when he's done, he's done.... (read more) We roped his belly, feet and no big issues there. He can still be a little bit worried about his feet, mostly his back feet, but at the pace he was learning when I was able to work with him full time I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a big deal to get him over it. He had no problem dragging grain bags, has been flagged and ponies nicely off the sidexside. Has had extensive ground work and liberty work done. Some days he isn't the easiest to catch but can always be caught, even when running loose on 160 acres, it might just take you 5 minutes. He would make a great ranch horse prospect or with his speed might even make a barrel horse. He is out of a stud off the Douglas Lake Ranch. He is a lot of horse, has a big heart and a kind eye.
