TEX is a beautiful stout AQHA black 5 1/2 yo gelding. He goes back to Leo Hancock Hayes and Blue Valentine. Super breeding and a good brain. 15.1 h very nice confirmation, great feet, Lovely mover. Beautiful extended Lope. Slower or faster trot. Super quiet keeps his head low, eCurrently wearing shoes on the front. Stands well for the Farrier, , stands tied, Stands cross tied and bathes without any problem. Great temperament very sweet and gentle willing to please.... (read more) Very nice walk trot, extended trot and lope, nice lead changes. Very athletic. Not lazy but will stroll down the trail or pick up the pase with ease. Backs, , working on side passing. Has been desensitized tarps, flags, traffic, you name it he’s been exposed. He has super ground manners, my 9 yo granddaughter turns him out and puts him in by herself. Rides out nice on the trail by himself easily, Crosses water and obstacles. No bad habits. Current on coggins and vaccines. Sound. Nice family horse. Would make nice ranch horse, trail challenge, collect him up and he’d be gorgeous in western dressage arena but no dressage experience at this time, or show him some barrels, he’s fast if you ask him. . Plenty of go but has a good stop could go in so many directions and very willing. . Located in Auburn AL. Would be great family horse, will work for anyone that can get on and go.
