Peanut is an awesome trail horse! She is an American Cream draft cross 11yr old mare standing at 15.2hh. She really has no vices.
This horse rides alone or with a group. Kept with a mix of mares & geldings. Certainly not the dominant horse in the pasture.
Peanut catches easily, loads, clips, bathes, ties, saddles, stands for vet/farrier with no problems. I ride Peanut 3-5 miles a few times per week. This mare has all the necessities that everyone is looking for.... (read more) Peanut has a controllable degree of asthma, from dusty hay last year. My vet has advised that soaking her hay may very well omit any occasional coughing. Also 5cc of dexamethasone (IM injections which she takes with no problem) may be needed on occasion.
Unfortunately I need to sell Pea because my husband & I will be relocating. I also have a custom made John Visser ranch saddle that was made for Peanut. She has an extremely flat back with not much wither. I would like the buyer to consider buying her saddle (additional cost).
