Appaloosa/Draft X Mare

Location - Fountain Inn, SC

If you want a big, sweet, non-mareish mare that wants to bond with you, this is it.
She originally came from a ranch in TX. I haven't seen her with cows, but she is very interested in my sheep! Her original owner passed, and she was purchased at the sale by a trainer.

She neck reins, has some "fancy broke" elements (a mild spin), is a forward mover, and her work ethic means she is trying to anticipate your next commands, adjusting to your seat and weight, so not for a beginner or for someone with poor balance for that reason.... (read more) But she is super sweet natured, well behaved, meets you in the pasture, such a good, genuine girl.

No buck, rear, bolt, crib, weave, bite. Cross ties, fly sprays, good with vet and farrier, wash rack, etc.

She can be in a stall but is happiest out in the pasture.

The videos below is to give you a "virtual visit" - an idea of how she behaves with new people and elements. These were first rides by the riders and her first day with a tarp. The second video is walk, trot, canter.

We have used jointed D-ring bits, a traditional hackamore, and a leather nose band hackamore. She is light to each of these.

Vet checked, UTD on shots and coggins, trimmed by farrier, teeth checked. 15.1 hands, but built like a tank.
