Betty Sells on Horse Bid, auction begins March 10, 2022 and ends March 21, 2022.
Betty is a 2016 Belgian Quarter Horse cross standing at 16.1 hands and wearing a size 3 shoe. She has a lot of shape, very stout build with a massive tail and a mane that flows down to her shoulders. She is a beautiful mare that loves attention and meets you at the gate every day. She has a gentle and quiet demeanor making her fit for a wide variety of riders. Saddle her up after weeks of sitting in the cold and she will ride off with no problems.... (read more) She is very gentle, tarps, balls, dogs, balloons and leaf blowers don’t phase her a bit. Betty has been used on the ranch to gather, trail, sort and ship cattle. She is a great ranch horse, she knows what it’s like to work for a living which gives her the easy going personality we all love. In the arena, Betty is just as fun to ride with a sliding stop and correct spins. She is easily the smoothest horse I have ever ridden and is soft in her mouth, unlike the typical draft crosses. She moves off of leg pressure and goes whatever speed you choose on a loose rein. Betty is also a fantastic trail horse. She rides away from other horses with no issues. She is very smart with her foot placement and has been in steep hills and rocky terrain, keeping her rider safe is her first priority. Crossing water, downfall and logs is a breeze when you’re riding her. Betty will lead or bring up the rear with no problems and has a nice ground covering walk. Betty gets along with other horses well, and does not act like a typical mare. She is an easy keeper and requires no maintenance of any kind. She stands tied, loads, bathes and hauls with ease. She stands for the farrier, she sells as 100% sound and is UTD on worming, vaccinations & shoeing and has a current coggins.
