Peter is a beautiful 2009, 17 hand hanoverian gelding. He has been to plenty of outings and schooling shows, though not many recognized shows, mostly a money saving thing. I have taken him on a hunter pace and show jumping and he is lovely for both, goes through water and jumps liverpools no problem, has jumped 3ft 6 at home courses no problem and done 4ft single fences with room to spare. He is bred for both dressage and jumping and has a huge amount of talent for dressage as well.... (read more) He has schooled 3rd level, knows shouler-in, counter shoulder-in, half-pass, counter canter, leg-yields, changes(can be late occasionally), reinbacks, knows a little spanish walk and a start in piaffe in hand. Peter is very sweet but has powerful paces that feel big, rides in a snaffle or a double bridle although I normally ride him in the snaffle. He is a great horse with a lot of heart looking for a new loving home. Would not put a total beginner on him but I have used him for lessons in the past with a variety of riders and skill sets so as long as there is a trainer on the ground, experience doesn't really matter although I think he would do great in a the home of an ambitious rider or adult amateur. Peter can go in shoes or completely barefoot, he is good either way and has no problem with shots of any kind. He is basically a puppy on the ground, very good natured and generally always up for a cuddle. He does best in a work program, he is a forward sensitive ride in the best way. Asking 35000
