Uncle Jack is a 2011 thoroughbred gelding who is by Flatter out of Ani's Ani. He was bred, born and raised on our farm. He also raced under our farm for a few years. He had 54 starts with his last start in 2019. He was then switched over to a pony horse at the track and he loved it. We brought Jack back to the farm to be a babysitter for an orphan foal earlier this year, which he was a natural at. Jack is a very gentle soul and eager to please.... (read more) He's the type you can get on and go. He is not spooky and he loves having a job. However, he has not been professionally retrained since being off the track. He will still need work to get used to slower paced riding. We have no doubt he will catch on fast. Our trainer said that he definitely has more woah than go, but is very responsive and listens to cues.
