Price reduction: $2,500 for Dakota with his tack.
Up to date on shots, coggins, worming, teeth floated, sheath cleaned, shoes and chiropractic. We have a boarding facility and Dakota was being purchased by a woman for her daughters; she paid some but decided she cannot afford to buy a horse right now. The owner she was buying him from is buying another horse and can it afford two boarded horses.. He was my niece's 9 yrs and mine 9 yrs years, and served as a lesson horse the past 7 years with all ages of children and adults.... (read more) He has been one that you can jump bareback on and go through the woods. Not spooky, comes running if you whistle. Dakota is grade, 15.1, easy keeper (does take 3 generic Zyrtec daily for allergies). He wears shoes year-round ON THE FRONTS ONLY with pads for a 2012 laminitis bout, but is a very healthy horse and has no gait issues. Custom-fitted Tucker saddle (was $1,600 new), saddle blanket, bridle with new dog bone snaffle bit and new reins, halter, lead rope, fly mask, bareback pad, new grazing muzzle, heavy winter blanket. His birthday is April 18, 2001, so he is 20. He has been WELL taken care of. More whoa than go (walk, trot, will canter but I don't have most kids canter on him.
Stands for farrier, his baths, tying, loads/unloads like a dream. These days horses can live 30 yrs if taken care of. You can look through my FB page Dakota's Creek Stables to see yearbooks of students all ages riding him. His sire was an AQHA paint race horse and his dam was a 100% Mustang stable mate....Dakota was an "accident" of the best kind! Danville, IL.
