King is a big guy with a heart of gold. Definitely a barn favorite! Anyone can ride him. He’s calm/reliable for a beginner but still fun to ride for an experienced rider. King is a grade 18yr old 16hh half Clydesdale quarter Saddlebred and quarter Frisian cross gelding. LOVES food! Very friendly and loves people. Would make a great family horse. He loves trail rides. Will go out by himself or in a group. Broke to ride and drive. Walk, trot, lope, and backs up.... (read more) Neck reins and moves off leg. Absolutely no buck, kick, rear, bolt, or bite. Beginner safe to ride and knows his job. Bombproof. Very used to farm equipment, traffic, four wheelers, cattle, dogs, and other horses. Easy to catch from the paddock. Rides English, western, or bareback. King has competed in some local gaming shows (barrel racing, dash, keyhole). He is much to big for speed events but my friend has entered him in a few gaming show just for fun! He still did great though! Started over jumps. I bought him from an Amish farm who used him for driving and trail rides. This guy has tons of miles on him and is such a sweetheart. No bad habits or vices. UTD on shots, coggins, dewormer, and farrier. Good turned out or stalled. Trailers well. Stands great for tacking up, mounting, brushing, baths, vet, and farrier. Easy keeper. Barefoot. I’ll sell his saddle, saddle pad, and his bridal and bit with him. Good and loving home a must. Asking $6,000 but negotiable to the right person. Serious inquires only.
