Jane is the type of young horse I can use for any job. She’s a 4 year old off of the Circle Bar Ranch that came through the Western Heritage sale as a yearling. By a son of Paddys Irish Whiskey, out of a daughter of Two Eyed Red Buck, and carrying the Circle Bar brand on her left hip; she is born to work. This mare had a slow start and an excellent foundation put on her early in her two year old year and has since been used in all aspects of ranch work.... (read more) If you’re looking for a breakaway, calf, or head horse; Jane’s your girl. At 15.1 hands and as stout as she is tall, this is a big and fast horse with a lot of bone that’s going to be a sound mount for a lifetime. Sorrel with all black feet, a cute stripe on her face, and that flashy flaxen mane. She’s broke and gentle and ready to be finished your way.
I’ve used her as a saddle horse on my colt starting operation to pony and flag colts and really like how she keeps a level head like a gelding and doesn’t take stuff personally while you’re using her. She’s calm on trails and really quiet. She’s been used as a turnback horse at cutting facilities, roped a dummy a little bit, packed kids around for me, gone to a couple of versatility shows, driven cattle around in the pasture, you name it. Ties, clips, bathes, stands for farrier, and loads like a dream. Easy to catch and handle. Doesn’t matter when or where, this gal is always the same horse, never mareish, and extremely good-minded. Selling at no fault of her own, I’m just moving to a different facility and am limited on stalls. I believe someone is going to have an excellent prospect on their hands here. Motivated to sell before I leave in June.
