I have an amazing gelding looking for a forever home. He has a story like everyone and that makes him a little more special and near and dear to our hearts. His name is ghost I’m not sure his breed, he looks like a quarter horse when we got him we never really had a clear answer. We did research on him and he trained in a bucking school to teach bronc riders when he was younger. We then traced owners and for the last 3 years he was an awesome trail horse who was great.... (read more) We bought him about a year ago and he was for my 7 year old. He was honestly HANDS DOWN the sweetest fella ever! He was and STILL is impeccable on the ground. will load tie anything you ask of him and will follow like a puppy. He was perfect under saddle but unfortunately I was new to the horse world and my 7 year old didn’t have a TON of knowledge and he started picking up on her bad habits and she was sending him mixed signals and he got away with a lot more than he should’ve. He then got annoyed with her and full fledge took advantage of her. He did a buck once and she got off terrified and ever since he has ran with it. He does buck but he doesn’t rear or try to hurt you. He just wants you off now that he knows he can get away with it, he tries you. He just needs a firm hand. Someone that’s going to re start him and put him in his place. Someone that teaches him we work as a team and he’s not the boss. Because there are days he’s an absolute Angel but then there’s days he’s not feeling it and will put up a fight. so please serious inquiries only and someone that has knowledge and horse experience. I want to be able to stay in contact because he is an amazing horse and If I had the time to reverse all his bad habits I would. He just needs someone to bond with him and restart him the right away. I think he would make an AMAZING western pleasure horse, trail horse or anyway you want to direct him. He loves the trails. I’m asking 1500$ because he NEEDS to go to an amazing home.
