Ridden Western, Trail, Trail Riding, Western Pleasure, Western Riding
Daisy is a youthful 9 year old mare with a ton of potential. She is incredibly sweet, loves attention and will follow you anywhere. She stands tied, trailers easily and is great for the farrier (good feet, goes barefoot in winter w/o issue). Not cinchy, takes a bit without a fight. Easy keeper. Under saddle she needs a confident rider-- no buck/bite/rear but she will throw her head and dance a little if she is not given clear direction. She can be head-shy, takes a few minutes to warm up to a fly mask or blanket if it has been a while since she's seen them.... (read more) Lunges well, has been worked at liberty in the round pen. She truly is a great horse, I love her but she is a little too much horse for me (I'm a beginner) and she deserves a rider who isn't giving her mixed signals. I cannot justify letting her sit out in the pasture when she is so young and so willing to do much more.

I would be willing to trade for an older, steady-eddy gelding. Preferably 15+ years old with experience on trails and in the arena. More whoa than go but willing to move out when asked. No preference on coloring. Must get along with other horses in pasture (I have another gelding) and not spooked by dogs/chickens/goats on the property. Needs to stand for the farrier, would be awesome if they have experience in a straight-load trailer.
