Brilliant 2016, 15'3 hand Oldenburg filly by Don De Marco out of Royal Ransom (Royal Prince X Ijsselmeer). Bright red chestnut with a narrow blaze and three socks! Super balanced and athletic filly with lots of femininity, a harmonious topline, and three lovely gaits! Delicata is sired by the Donnerwetter son, Don De Marco, a half brother to the legendary Donnerhall! Her dam, Royal Ransom, is by Royal Prince (Rohdiamant – Prince Thatch xx – Wenzel I), one of Hilltop Farm’s flagship stallions.... (read more) Royal Ransom’s damsire, Ijsselmeer, and grand sire were both Grand Prix dressage horses. Even though his career was in dressage, Ijsselmeer scored high in jumping at his approval and Grundstein was on the all round top ten list in Germany for producing both dressage horses and jumpers at the international level.
