Meet Hopper the well-built and well-mannered gelding that has quickly become a ranch favorite. He’s an experienced go-to ranch horse that has done every job from checking fences to dragging calves to the branding fire. Hopper is AQHA registered and portraying the classic Quarter Horse attitude is shooting him to the top of everyone’s favorite list. He is very easy going and will keep whatever pace his rider asks of him. He can slow down for a relaxing and steady ride, or speed things up and go to work if asked.... (read more) Hopper has worked cattle, doctored calves, and been used in all aspects of ranch work. He has done ranch riding and proved his skills in the arena. He transitions smoothly, stops off of a seat and is light to the touch. He has a wonderful handle and is easy to maneuver. He has the experience, training, and the disposition to make a wonderful all-around horse. He truly is well rounded because he is motivated for whatever his rider asks of him. Not many horses can be great workers and beginner horses. Hopper takes care of his rider ensuring a pleasant ride as you go on adventures, or to work. He is a very ranchy horse and is right at home among cows, and on any trail. Anything we showed him he acted like he had seen it all before. Our program was like a walk in the park for this gelding. Tarps, dogs, walk-trot-lope with the flag, riding double, the water, the big ball, tricks, trails, drone, and atv were all just another day for Hopper.
