Skeeter is her name and endurance is her game. She has 300 endurance miles under her belt, mostly 50s and 30s. Very smooth gait and canter, never paces. Very fast walk and is eager to go all the time, never tires. Skeeter is not overly spooky, ok with bikes, hikers and dogs. Doesn't care if a horse is on her butt, no kick, bite, buck or bolt. Skeeter likes to be in the lead and can get anxious behind another horse, she would rather lead but she has been in the back on our rides.... (read more) Gets along in a mixed herd on pasture. Can be marish in pasture but not under saddle. Can be impatient waiting on trail traffic to pass, always wants to be moving. She will mind me but I'm sure she will try to take advantage of a new owner. Very sure-footed and can fly through technical trails with ease. Very comfortable to ride. She has been camping numerous times, highlines as well as ground ties and hobbles. All the basics are there, ties, trailers, good with the farrier. Skeeter is UTD on vaccines, deworming and currently barefoot. Vet check welcome at buyer's expense. She will come with a 2 week trial period to make sure she finds the right partner.
