Meet Nick! Nick is a 15ish hh 5 year old purebred gelding out of Marwan Al Magnifficoo. Papers in hand. Nick has had a rough past, so he needs someone willing to put time and love into him. He is SAFE, does not offer a buck even in turnout/lunging, and he is not spooky(if he does he just snorts and raises his head a bit). He is extremely comfortable and nice to ride bareback. Nick has 3 solid gates and can collect, we just haven't been asking him of that.... (read more) We have focused on getting him back into shape. He was just a stall horse for awhile. He is great with kids, adults, and loves trails! Dogs, donkeys, chickens, he's seen it all and is uninterested. Ride under the lights at night and hit by the sprinklers, doesn't care. He just needs more miles put on him. He is the sweetest horse. Nick meets you at the gate and nickers at you when in his stall. Nick previously was a show horse, and I believe with time and trust into another rider, he would excel in it (any discipline). He was a western pleasure horse who showed at Scottsdale. Nick is UTD on shots, worming, shoes, etc. He loads and is fine in a trailer. He turns out and rides alone or with others, he doesn't try to alpha. He does not try and bite either. He stands for the farrier (front shoes only), ties, clips, cross ties, anything. Easy to lead. Please call me for more information, I'm happy to share anything. I would be keeping this horse but I start nursing school in January and won't be able to give him the time he deserves. Nick's only flaws are that he can get overwhelmed sometimes under saddle, and he just needs time to think. He also can tuck his nose underneath him when trying to bridle, but it's easy to move him up and put the bit in his mouth. (Both due to past abuse). He will pass any vet check, and feel free to pull blood on him. I do not use drugs on my horses.
Nick would be a great family horse. He just needs a new, loving family. Shelby -(480) 694-3847
