Additional Comments
Sylvia’s Simeon “Simmee” is a fantastic six year old sorrel Quarter Horse (not registered but DNA tested). Simmee was trained in preliminary reining and used in the ring for both Western and English. He is 14.1 hands. Simmee has a lot of spirit and is forward and likes to go and would be best suited for a confident rider. He has been used by juniors. In 2019 he was a 4-H Champion in Showmanship. He has a sweet disposition, comes right up to you in the pasture and easy to catch.... (read more) He’s good loading in the trailer, stands for farrier and vet and is an easy keeper. UTD on shots and coggins. Simmee enjoys ring work and trails. No spook on trails, good crossing water and by traffic and big trucks. He has camped out several times, in electric corrals and/or in tie stalls. In 2020 he competed in both ECTRA and AERC events of 25-30 miles. His AERC and ECTRA numbers and mileage are transferrable to his new owner. Simmee would be great English or Western, in the ring or as a pleasure or competitive trail horse. Possible pony hunter, with training over fences. I used him extensively on the trails and traveled to Ohio, KY and MD with him this past summer.
Reason for sale: I like to do distance riding on either a Morgan or Arabian. When purchased, seller thought he was part Morgan, but after the DNA test revealed that he is a QH I’ve decided to sell him to a good home.
