Meet Hershey. He is a sweet and athletic thoroughbred gelding who is willing to work hard. I have college online for the fall and spring semesters so I am looking for someone to ride him 2-3 days a week, or perhaps lease to own. He never bucks or bolts but he has a lot of energy so intermediate or advanced riders only please. I haven't been jumping him lately because we kept him in our field for a bit because of Covid, and then we switched to Wine Country Sport Horse, but a few months ago he was trotting and cantering courses no problem.... He is a rescue but we had him vet checked and he has no health issues. I have had him for over a year and he's never gone lame except for having one abcess. Also, he's 16 hands, handles well on the ground, and can do trails as well as arena work. He has also gained weight since that picture was taken so now he is at a perfectly healthy weight for a thoroughbred.
Wine Country Sport Horse is a wonderful barn located on Blank Rd in Sebastopol. It has two arenas (one of which is double the size of most arenas and is mostly covered. It also has two round pens, three barns, a wash rack, and plenty of stalls and paddocks. Hershey is currently in a large paddock that he shares with an adorable 5yr old Thoroughbred. If you wish to take lessons, the trainer there is highly qualified and great to work with.
