This chestnut Irish Draught Sport Horse gelding was foaled 06/2019 and should mature to 16H. His sire, In Shining Armour, RID C1 is by Glenlara and out of a daughter of the Grade A International Jumping stallion, Glenagyle Rebel. His dam, DKH Counting Stars RIDSH, is a traditionally bred and inspected Irish Draught Sport Horse mare by the Irish Draught stallion, Jaunty Star RID C1 and out of a Thoroughbred mare by Glitter Please.... (read more) She has been Eventing at the NB/N level as well as being a broodmare.
"Bow" is an excellent example of his sire line. He is 3/4 Irish 1/4 TB, very substantial with tons of bone and curves everyone can love. He has that easy going, life is good Irish temperament! Bow has smooth gaits and a large, rolling canter that would make him an excellent candidate as a Field Hunter/Fox Hunter, and with the many up-close Jumping lines in his pedigree, he should show talent there as well.
