Meet Spark. Grade gaited 15 hand gelding. 12 years old per the equine dentist. He is easy to catch and a great trail horse. Previous owner said rode by kids on trail. My semi-experienced 13 year daughter has rode him with no issues. I've rode him alone and with other horse at trails and on the dirt roads at home. He does great with steep climbs and descends. He also camps good. Eat, drink, etc. He does think cows are pretty scary and is getting better but I think he'll always be iffy about them.... (read more) He is not scared of dogs, deer, or vehicles. I can make him leave home alone, but with inexperienced rider he'll stop or back up. If riding with others leaving home he's good about leaving. He does have fat deposit on neck but my farrier sees no sign of founder. He is sound and I have him barefoot and boot him during rides do to rocky Arkansas. I've also discussed him with my vet and he says he's seen several horses with fat on the neck but no other issues. He is not overweight. More pictures and video available.
