Trail horse deluxe! "International Harvester" aka Harvey is coming 6 years old. 15.3 hands. Stocky but fit, not like riding a barrel. He is said to be Belgian Draft cross with American Dutch Harness Horse. Lots of trail miles all over the east coast. He was broke to drive as a 2 yr old and drove for a year before backing with the saddle. He was ridden on trails and exposed to all sorts of things for a year before hard work. Did 90 days in a program last year and has been excelling every week!... (read more) Will walk/trot/canter. His working trot covers ground and his slow trot can be gaited. Easy to sit all day on the trails or pickup a working trot for some dressage or jumps in the arena! Has been in dressage work the last year and has done training level shows. We even did an eventing clinic and he didn't hesitate over the rails! He is eager to please, he tries very hard for his rider, he is a sweetheart in the barn and has a loveable personality. Barefoot, sound, solid feet! His farrier claims they should be in a farrier book. Is currently ridden 3 times weekly. Will go english or western. Clean hock and stifle xrays, will pass PPE and flexion tests.
