We’ve owned Rebel for 4 years. He’s a Warmbloods/QH cross at 17hh. My husband learned a lot with him when he had little to no riding experience. Rebel has been there and done that. He was once posse certified before we got him. He excels at sorting cattle. He absolutely loves English and showmanship. However, he is so personable he knows who he likes and that it. He does well with someone who spoils him, but isn’t intimidated by his big size.... (read more) I would consider him kid broke only to a kid who knows what they’re doing; he likes to play games. Never bucked, bit or reared. Sits mid-top of pecking order. He’ll do anything for a Twizzler. He is herd sour, but rock solid in the trail. He has done a year of mounted shooting where I would consider him gun broke, but he very much dislikes mounted shooting, hence why he don’t have a job in our discipline. We are a mounted shooting family and he’s too nice to sit for anything else. He is current on coggins, shots, feet, teeth & chiro.
