Sunny is a kind and easy going stallion. He has been a breeding stallion since 2012, and was started under saddle as a 9 (2018) year old. His trainability and ride ability at such a late stage of life for a breeding stallion is a true testament to the willingness, and kindness of the Haflinger breed. He is worked with and handled everyday, he looks forward to his training sessions. He is brave and confident out on the trails, he has some experience with working equitation obstacles, has done a little jumping, been trained to accept the double bridle and is superb on the flat.... (read more) He has been ridden outdoors (in all-weather conditions) and indoors. He can be ridden bareback in all gaits, and out on the trails. He loves to be around people and has a wonderful temperament for a fun all-around horse that can be enjoyed. He also works as breeding stallion and has proven offspring, both as pure bred Haflingers and crossed with other breeds, mainly ponies. Sunny is looking for a home that will appreciate all his skills, from being an exceptional breeding stallion to a really fun and willing riding horse. He is registered with the American Haflinger Registry.
