Beautiful, fun and sweet 15.0 hand paint mare. I have owned her for 2 years and we have had a lot of fun, mainly trial riding and a little arena work. The owners who had her before did 4H with her, they moved and couldn't take her. She has been riding with my gaited mare and does great, but has to trot to keep up the pace.
Vet puts her age between 12-14 years old.
I'm changing to gaited horses so she needs a new loving home.... (read more)
The good: She loads great, picks up feet without problems, great on the trail, has a nice pick me up and very nice whoa. UTD on vaccinations and worming. Feet are solid, no need for shoes. Zero buck! She has been on a trail course and patiently goes over bridges, up onto a tire, over logs etc. She doesn't love water, but will get in with encouragement and if she is with a horse that goes first.
The bad: She can be herd bound, loves to ride with other horses, will get nervous if she is out on her own. She is bottom of the pecking order, she should be fed by herself or supplement with grain to keep weight on her. Not completely a beginners horse as she will test a rider to see if they are the boss or not. Nothing bad, just decides to go another direction and does so unless the rider points her to where they want to go.
Asking $2600 Price negotiable to the right home.
You're welcome to come by and see her, ride her, groom her. Good home is a MUST!
