English Pleasure, Lesson, Playday, Ridden English, Trail Riding
Let me introduce myself, I’m Rockhaven Joe Fox. I’m 15 years old, 15.2 hhl, sorrel/liver chestnut gelding. My parentage is from SMS Navarre and Woodgate Glory. I can trace my lineage back 4 generations. I’m a registered Morgan. I’m a dream come true! I like walking on the trails or a short romp in the arena. I have more whoa then go, but if we go on the trail, I can lead the way! I don’t bite or kick other horses.... (read more) I have been trained in dressage, but I need a touch up. You see, I’m a little out of shape due to being out to pasture for the last year, but I still remember my manners and how to listen. I did a little training a few years ago with Handy Dressage. I love figuring out new puzzles.
My hooman describes me as an “easy keeper”. My hooman feeds me grass hay with a slice of alfalfa and a small scoop of Triple Crown Lite. I get my worming meds every three months. Oh, and I saw the doc in January. He said I look good. Floated my teeth, gave me all my shots, and cleaned my sheath. Don’t have that Coggins thing! Said I’m negative. My farrier comes out every 6 weeks to trim my hooves. I stand for him and try really hard to behave.
I try to get along with everyone. I like kids. They are light and easy to work with. I get along with other horses too. Mares are usually no fun, they tend to bite! But, other geldings, I can hang with! I’m also good on my own. I’ve been living by myself for about 3 years now.
I’ve been in a relationship with my current hooman for about 5 years. But, she no longer hangs with me. She got too busy with life. Kids, Jobs, School… at least, that’s what she tells me. So, I’ve had a talk with her and told her I need a new hooman. She’s agreed and decided to help me find a new place.
So, if you are interested in a sweet, loving, ol’ boy, hit up my hooman. I live in South Texas, near San Antonio. She said I need a dowry, $1,500. Oh, I also have this AMAZING tack that she said I can take with me. The saddle is a Advantage Custom Saddlery 17P (1853), and it fits me to a tee! I really like it. There’s also some training gear, (but you can leave the whips! I don’t like those.) The tack is going for $1,500.
