Milo is a super personable horse with an in your pocket personality. He's 10 years young and would be best for an intermediate or above rider. He has primarily been a trail horse for the past two years and loves it. He could also be a great lower level dressage partner or could be trained in cross country, as he absolutely loves jumping. His movement is very comfortable and he moves easily between gaits. On the trail, it is best for him to follow another horse, as he prefers not to lead.... (read more) He is also used to riding in a variety of indoor and outdoor arenas. Milo does need a confident rider, otherwise he tends to lose his own confidence and will refuse some tasks/obstacles if it is something new.
Milo has no health issues and has strong barefeet. Stands well for the vet and farrier. Very easy keeper and is only on grass and a little hay during the summer. He does the best with 24 hour turnout, but has been in daily turnout situations before and does just fine. He is currently being boarded in a large pasture with 20+ horses, but I believe he would do better with a smaller more consistent herd. UTD on all shots. Milo is currently located in Bolton CT.
I've owned Milo since he was a yearling and it breaks my heart to sell him. I will only let him go to the perfect home with a first right of refusal contract should he ever need to be rehomed again.
