Sergeant, or Sarge as he's affectionately known, was born April 6, 2020. The last generation of the late Sagar, Sarge has every quality to make a lovely partner for the eventing or jumper ring. Sarge is a large (no.. I'm serious....he's MASSIVE), lovely foal. Solid buckskin, easy to clean, and moves really lovely. Lovely neck, topline, and a beautiful face.
Sarge will be large, I predict well over 17hh (his half sister is 16.... (read more)2hh at 2 and he's larger than she was) and will be an incredibly fun prospect for professionals or amatuers alike to bring along.
Sarge lives in a herd setting, figuring out the ropes of being a horse and getting plenty of movement to develop his bones and joints. He will come Westfalen registered, UTD on shots and farrier care. He also leads and gets handled regularly. Very sweet boy who loves attention! We are located in central Iowa. Email for more photos and video!
His sire, Sagar, is a cremello Czech warmblood standing 16.2 who is known for his incredible scope over fences, lovely gaits and fantastic conformation through successful competition bloodlines that includes the famous Holsteiner stallion, Landgraf l. He successfully competed at one metere show jumping level as a 3 year old before being imported to the States. His kind and willing temperament and UNIQUE color is icing on the cake.
His dam, Vague Report (Slick Report - We'llsee, by Strike Gold) is a substantial black bay mare with a large frame standing at 16.3h. Her size, temperament, and correct way of moving make her a great candidate for producing foals of all disciplines. V, as she is affectionately known, shows nice shoulder freedom, suspension, and a good hind leg. V produces her size, and wide build, making nice large sporthorse foals.
