Belgian/QH cross gelding “Thor”He knows some natural horsemanship, rides both English and Western, indoors and out. Big, stout easy keeper with a sweet personality. Much more whoa than go, not spooky. He prefers to stay outdoors though we have him stalled currently. At his former home he faithfully carried children and beginner riders. He can be pushy on the ground and under saddle, so I would recommend a beginner working with a trainer/experienced horse person at a minimum.... (read more) He does best when in regular work (a few times a week).
We purchased him earlier last year but he is not meshing well with our little herd and is too much horse for my 100% beginner husband.
Asking what we paid, $2000. Up to date on veterinary and farrier care. Photos and videos available. Potential to lease or trial him first.
Will consider trading for a very beginner-friendly stock type OR Thoroughbred-type jumper prospect.
