This mare will be ridden here until sold to get her in condition. She hasn't been in consistent work so we are getting her legged back up now. She is STUNNING in person and very well made. This mare was never raced on the track and has been used as both a barrel and trail horse. Extremely well broke - side passes, counter arcs, neck reins, good stop, etc.... (read more) Dee runs left on barrels. She has no gate or alley issues. She's not hard to ride but she does know her job and is not for your 10yr old that's decided he or she wants to barrel race so please do not message asking if she's a "kid's barrel horse" You cannot ask for nicer ground manners - Dee is a pleasure to work with, good in her stall, and a nice mare in general to handle. She is currently blanketed in a box stall and working 3-5 days per week. She is not spooky or looky and is a very sensible mare. Please watch her video all the way through to see her run as well as slow work. Dee knows her job and does not need to be drilled endlessly on the pattern. Ride her in the arena and on all the trails you want. When it's race day, warm her up and run her. If you run her and run her, she's going to start shouldering in hard on the first barrel right about run #3. When legged up, Dee will consistently clock from the middle of the 2D to the top of the 3D (depending on the level of competition). She is priced accordingly. No trades, no trials, no payment plans. This mare is priced to sell and her price is firm. If you need to speak with your spouse, boarding barn, 2nd cousin, neighbor, priest, etc. before purchasing a horse, please do so before contacting me with a 2 page list of questions. I am more than happy to answer anything but there is no need to waste my time or yours if you are not sure whether or not you are in fact ready to purchase a horse. (Please read that with both the humor & seriousness intended! Experience unfortunately necessitates that statement!) Pre-purchase exams at buyer expense are welcome. Dee is UTD on vaccines and has a current negative Coggins test. A health certificate for travel can be arranged at buyer expense. If you need shipping, I am very happy to help you track down reliable & competitively priced transport as we have a good network of commercial haulers. Payment by cash, PayPal, and all major credit cards/debit cards accepted (including Amex & Discover). Personal checks also accepted but must clear the bank prior to the horse leaving.
