Big, beautiful 5-panel negative loud leopard Appaloosa mare. 15.3, 1400+ lbs. Exotic coloring, correct conformation and being a proven producer of loud color and high quality, make this young mare a very promising broodmare addition to any program. Her name "Warbonnet Justice" is from the warbonnet marking on her left hip and as a tribute to her grandfather, Cowboy Justice. Bonnet is also Foundation Pedigree Designation (FPD) registered at 77%.... (read more) She is very representative of the Cowboy Justice/Bandido line - loud leopards with lots of body. Check out her pedigree - she would be an excellent outcross on pretty much any line. Besides Bandido, this mare goes back to Goer, Bright Eyes Brother, Wapiti, Joker B, Hayes Roman Cloud, Chief of Fourmile, Dreamfinder, Quanah, Hands Up, Old Blue, Knobby, Ding Bob, and several times to Mansfields Comanche (through Hawkeye, Double Six Domino, Top Hat H). Lots of great Appaloosa bloodlines - not always easy to find in a big, show quality mare. She had her first foal in 2019 - a gorgeous loud bay leopard filly sired by a bay Thoroughbred stallion. Bonnet foaled fine by herself and is good with people handling her and her foal at time of birth. She holds her own in pasture of mares and foals, as well as with geldings. She is an easy keeper and can get pretty stout when grained - can keep well on pasture and hay. Not broke and not shown due to no fault of her own - no time for her as she has all of this potential but is at a farm that is concentrating on raising Thoroughbreds for the racetrack.
