For sale is a very flashy bay with plenty of chrome, a fancy mover with an enormous step, and a scopey jumper. A papered Welsh gelding, he is 12 hands, 8 years old, and being ridden by brave, solid kids. He has been ridden through the woods, through water, in big pastures, bareback, etc. He is very green and though he can be wary of people (and their fast unpredictable movements), he is quite brave with things. It took him no time (less than a minute) to walk, trot, and canter with a tarp hanging off of him and to accept a giant bouncy ball all over him.... (read more) He learns quickly.
He currently walks, trots, canters, yields to leg, trots and canters little courses, has stellar brakes, and natural changes. We took him to schooling Friday, and he was not buddy sour or nervous. He has gone on long trail riders.
He is not ready to be ridden by most kids but would make a killer project or investment for either a trainer or an advanced kid.
