Mac" is 10 year old Percheron Gelding. He stands 16.3 and is solid black besides the large white star on his head. He is a gentle-natured, easy going yet still sensitive and willing kind of a horse.

Mac has spent most of his life as a driving horse and most recently in the last year has been started under saddle. He will walk, trot, and lope on a loose rein. He has got a great stop and back up, and will side pass either way. He has started learning a little turn around (spin) and easily picks up both leads.... (read more)

Mac has been ridden both in the arena and outside. He has been ridden on wagon trains, out on the farm, down the road, and hauled to other places as well.

Mac is naturally a gentle type of a horse but does have some sensitivity to him. He is easy to get going forward, and responds to cues very well.

He is an easy horse to clip, bath, saddle, mount/dismount and catch. We handle his feet everyday and he has been well behaved for our farrier.

This is a big fancy horse with an awesome foundation. I personally have had little to none driving experience and have drove him with no issues.
