Gorgeous Buckskin gelding for sale out of Hijo Spotted Bully and Heiress of Fire. Super sweet personality, smart and wants to please with a calm laid back personality, even going in the gate to barrel race. Great for any rider that can WTC. He is finished on barrels for 3D-4D but has potential for 1D. Trained to jump up to 3-4' and has great endurance to ride all day on the trails in either English or can ride western and neck rein. Have done mounted shooting off him and he does great.... (read more) Loves, loves, loves water. Will blow bubbles with his nose and has been in the ocean on both of Florida's coasts. Does have an occasional spook in new situations (maybe twice a year), but you can see it coming and responds well with a gentle, but firm hand that is calm. Gets along well with other horses. Stands great in cross ties for farrier and is barefoot. Loves to be groomed and bathed. My girls don't ride him anymore and he needs a home to give him the attention he deserves. He will dapple up the more he is outside in the sun and his mane turns almost blond on the ends. If you want a gorgeous, sweet, loving horse that you can pretty much do anything with, Dakota is your guy.
