Qrixious lovingly referred to as Baby Bear, is a 2013 registered (FHH reg.... (read more) name QRIXIOUS PERRY) Friesian Sport Horse gelding that stands a stout 16.0 hands. This horse has been a personal favorite of mine for as long as I've known him. This boy has boasted three balanced and comfortable gaits since the day I broke him to ride. He is a nice forward, light aids type of ride and has a fantastic, willing to please work ethic. Baby Bear has been to parades, schooling shows, and extreme mountain trail courses. He is currently showing training level test 3 and schooling first 1. He is working to move solidly up to first level by the end of the year and has the movement and trainability needed to take his rider all the way up the levels. He loves to trail ride, and can ride with or without a group. He enjoys doing new things and thrives on attention and positive reinforcement. He recently went to an extreme trail challenge course and completed many difficult obstacles for the first time with total poise and ease. Those obstacles included bridges, a teeter-totter, deep water crossing, trench crossing, jumping up and down banks into water, jumping up and down steep banks, walking over logs, jumping 2' cross country type fences, etc...Baby Bear has IMPECCABLE ground manners and is a total love bug. He clips/ ties/ cross ties/ ties to a trailer/ bathes/ loads with out issues. You can even clean his sheath without any sedation. He stands like a gentleman for the farrier and vet. He can go out with mares or geldings and stands in the middle of the pecking order. He is currently barefoot and has never had any soundness or heath concerns. He has only had one owner since he was a weanling, so his entire medical and training history is known. To bring out the absolute best in this athletic guy, it is recommended that his new person is at least an intermediate rider. His owner is very motivated to find him his perfect person.
