Precioso Del Rey is a fully registered Andalusian Stallion. He is technically an S/P horse (Andalusian/Lusitano), but is fully registered here in the US. He is an extremely kind and calm stallion with no stallion tendencies. He has never been bred and does not have a show record. He was trained in upper level dressage and can still do much of what he was taught, but I have used him as just a trail horse since I got him(I would recommend a more experienced rider to take him out on trail, he is not a beginner's trail horse), as well as basic arena riding, usually bareback and in a hackamore.... (read more) He is very smart and is quick to learn. He can do the Spanish walk, Spanish trot, piaffe, passage, and he can even bow. He is pretty out of shape right now because I have not been able to ride for almost a year now, but I will occasionally get on him and he is quite nice to ride. He has extensive trail miles. I've taken him up mountains, through creeks, under freeway trails, and even into town. He can go alone or with other horses. He can be stabled next to mares or geldings and has been stabled next to other stallions without any problems. His only vices are that he is very sensitive to the girth and prefers if you go slow with him. He also doesn't like small trailers and I think it might make him claustrophobic. When I first bought him the trainer warned me he might be silly for the first few weeks until he got acclimated, and he was, but quickly settled down and has been great since. Other than that, He is a complete gentleman. I've had kids ride him and beginners ride him and he is very patient and kind. The only reason I'm selling him is that I've been having on going health issues and can no longer ride.
