April is a proven broodmare & proven color producer. Shes was bred to the same purebred Akhal-Teke two years in a row. First she produced Aurora, a beautiful solid light bay filly with a wide blaze and two hind socks. The next year she produced Merlin, a flashy bay frame/sabino pinto colt who is marked very much like his mother. Both of offspring are at least a hand taller than their mother and combine the best of the Akhal-Teke and Arabian breeds.... (read more) Both are gorgeous and have temperaments so outstanding that they basically sold themselves as yearlings. April was a very good mother but not overly protective with people. We are planning to start her under saddle this fall or next spring. I'm selling her because I’m nearing retirement and need to disperse most of my herd for financial reasons.
