Dahlia is a sensible, non mareish pony that is a lot of fun! She is great on the trails and is always ready to do whatever you ask of her. She will cross water, bridges and has been ridden on the beach and in the ocean and in very large groups. She does not even react when a horse gets too close behind her. I have video and she handled an obstacle course bravely. She has a fairly big trot for a pony and a very cute jump, and likes it. She has excellent ground manners, I haven't had time to ride her regularly yet she is still the first one I take out of the barn for a last minute trail ride.... (read more) She'd make a nice pony club pony as she is very brave and confident, will spook at nothing, and is big enough to carry a small adult. I've had her for well over a year and she has never done a thing wrong, and is always sound barefooted. She is probably not suitable for a stark beginner as she is big strided and does not need to be pushed to go forward although I would not call her hot. She was in professional training for six weeks this past summer to get her canter brushed up on.
