This horse was purchased by our daughter in 2013 and she learned to ride on him. He is a sweet tempered but forward horse so would not be good for a true beginner or nervous rider. Our daughter is now in college and he has been standing for over a year, but still rides out well when we pull him out of the pasture. He may need a little bit of a tune up to get him settled in again but it won't take much. He moves out at all gaits, is super responsive and eager to please.... (read more) He has been ridden in the roundpen, arena and out on the trail. He will track a cow and is very quick and athletic. He is not a lead line pony type horse, yet was an excellent horse for our teenager and he took care of her in her lessons and out on the trail. One of his previous owners used him as a rope horse. Current negative coggins, sound, easy keeper, leads and loads well, hauls well, stands to be saddled, ties well, sweet tempered and wants to be in your pocket. He seeks attention and thrives with daily interaction and needs something to do.
